In late May, Redzone celebrated its second company retreat in New Orleans, LA. Being a remote company, the group met in a central location with both focused work and adventure planned. For a second year in a row it felt like a huge accomplishment to be under one roof, collaborating and enjoying time with our coworkers.

Throughout the RedZone retreat, we centered ourselves around the themes of context, connection, and alignment. Some coworkers had never interacted with one another, so we wanted to take advantage of our time together. We have employees from all over the US from Hawaii to the East Coast. We began our time focusing on communication, productivity, and staying connected. The team took advantage of New Orleans, partaking in local cuisine and beignets, soaking in the music scene on Frenchman Street, and wandering in awe of the collection at M.S. Rau.

The retreat allowed everyone to participate in small group discussions tackling some hurdles in the company. Most importantly our team had a chance to discuss our upcoming product roadmap in person. Intelligence analysts had the chance to brainstorm with tech developers to think outside the box and conceptualize ideas from both perspectives.

We left the weekend feeling refreshed, grateful, and excited to get back to work. Special thanks to our CEO Clark for making this possible!
