Earlier this month, RedZone CEO Clark Woodward was interviewed on Duck Creek’s recently launched podcast series. The series launched this month, Conversations on the Creek, features Clark and RedZone in their partner series. The episode had Rob Savitsky and Robert Fletcher from Duck Creek chat with Clark. The topics included the state of wildfires, risk, and how insurers can better manage that risk.
Duck Creek’s Partner Series
Earlier this year, RedZone joined Duck Creek’s Solution Partner ecosystem. Consequently, Clark was asked to feature in their new partner series podcast where the goal is to discuss the finer details of each partners’ ‘insurtech’. RedZone’s own shared his expert perspective on a few subjects, including: the impact of climate change on wildfire risk, how insurers can better manage that risk, and his thoughts on the massive Dixie Fire which burned most of the summer.
Clark specifically shared insights RedZone sees every day. Such insights as: contributing factors to drier fuels, longer fire seasons, and harder to corral wildfires. Clark reiterated the importance of our RZRisk solution and wildfire scoring now available through Duck Creek.
What is the likelihood a home at this site will survive a wildfire, should it occur? …And that is a really important part of a wildfire score, and something the modeling industry (and RedZone) is putting a lot of effort into right now. — Clark Woodward, CEO
The co-hosts from Duck Creek were well informed on the hot topic of wildfire and really seemed to enjoy the conversation . Give it a listen below. Also, peruse our website for more information on our RZRisk and underwriting products.
